Ravi Teja was as born on 26 January 1968 in Jaggampeta, East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh.Ravi Teja's real name is Bhupatiraju Ravishankar Raju. He is the eldest of three sons to Bhupatiraju Rajgopal Raju, a pharmacist, and Rajyalaxmi Bhupatiraju, a home maker. Both his brothers are now actors as well. Ravi spent his childhood in Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and Bhopal. He moved to Vijayawada along with his family. He was a naughty child who used to set fire to couches to enact action scenes. He tried to run away from home to become an actor in Bollywood when he was eleven years old. He also called as(Mass Star, Mass Raja, Sex Demon, Crazy star, Energising star,Mass Maharaja). Height 6' 0" Ravi Teja studied at N.S.M Public School and joined Siddhartha Degree College to pursue his Bachelors in Arts. Half way through his undergraduate studies, he left for Chennai on 2 October 1988, to begin a career in films.
